October Leaves and Spider Webs

We are back from Paris, amazed at Vancouver's vast open spaces, varied vegetation, fog, high wine prices . . . .

The fog will be with us a few days, as summer turns to fall under the full moon.  This presents interesting opportunities.  Shots featuring fog seem to be beyond my ability, but in the fog's diffused light, the fall vegetation takes on new hues, giving depth of colour one cannot get in bright sunlight.  These photos were taken either in our front garden or at the UBC Botanical Gardens.
